Nejera

28 April- On the way to and at Nejera, a town named for it's position between the cliffs. It's been in favor of Spain since Sancho III (El Mayor) made it the capitol when Pamplona was captured during the start of the 11th century. Beautiful town.

Navarrete

27 April, almost got attacked by a vicious beast as I started off this morning! We faced off then gave each other space and the opportunity to fight another day, lol...
 Today was an easy walk as opposed to the previous days. Some slight up-hills and one big one to tackle but minor compared to what I've already done. However, for some reason it felt like the hardest walk I've had to date. Just couldn't get myself going. Arrived in good time though, and will recoup and plug away tomorrow morning. All good...


  

Logrono

Pilgrims log!! 26 April, 2016....
Arrive in Logrono today, hit 162.9 K. For 101.8 miles of walking through mud, big and little rocks, rain, up and down mountains and it's been a very enlightening experience. In Feb 2013 this is where I had to take the bus to Madrid and then home.. So I am blessed to be here and moving on in the morning.

Viana

Arrived in Viana this afternoon, cold, cold, cold walk, but no rain. :)
