Lugo

30 May - Decided to make use of my time off. I went to visit Lugo, a city in northwestern Spain in the autonomous community of Galicia. It is the capital of the province of Lugo. The municipality had a population 98,560 in 2014 making it the fourth most popular city Galicia.

Sarria

29 May - Sarria, the starting place of many Spaniards and a great many Europeans. Here starts the last 100 K's that they look at in your passport in Santiago to ensure you walk it. Bittersweet for me because I know it's winding down. I'll still have a ways to go after Santiago, however Santiago is my main objective. Hanging out here a few days as was my plan to start the last 100 K on the first of June. Then back on the Camino.

Samos, 28 May

28 May- Home to the oldest and most important monastery in this region. Very beautiful town, small but friendly. Arrived Friday, spent Saturday and now moving on.
